Oh, I did finish "The Book Thief". O-M-G, it's my new all-time favorite. Though when I was done with the last page I was practically sitting in a puddle of tears.
Rudy...*heavysigh* that had to be the hardest thing to read ever. How the author managed to do that, I don't know. Apparently, Rudy's character meant a great deal to Mark, you could tell by the way he described him.
Lol, he reminded me a bit of a young, stubborn yet kind, Mello. Don't give me that look. I'm being serious. So in a way, it was like losing Mello all over again when it happened...so sad. I'll probably end up re-reading it a thousand times. No surprise there I guess.
And now I gt depressed whenever I hear the songs, "Summer Skin" by Death Cab For Cutie", and the song "Honey And The Moon" though the artists name seems to have slipped my mind. They put me in mind of Rudy and Liesel (the main character). I seem to be a sucker for these kind of books. But they just seem so real.
It's gonna be re-playing in my head for days now. It makes me happy and sad =/

Maaaaaaaaaaaaaaaan, you know for a while I had been a little excited to hear just how the dubbed version of Death Note would sound. I had always thought since Death Note had been so popular over here in the States that they would do a really good job on it. *sigh* I need to learn to stop getting my hopes up all the time. Last night while seaching the much beloved interweb, I came across a blog someone posted entitled 'Death Note dubbed?!" Of course I clicked...and...O-M-G ...Light sounded like a scrawny pre-pubescent white kid T.T

At this point I've finished alot of the things that have been stressing me out lately >.< Now only to find a whole new wave of things rushing out at me from out of the blue. I guess it should be expected, thus is the real world. Can't say that I'm as happy as I should be right now. Still trying to figure out why exactly. Besides the constant things that are keeping me busy to the point of pretty much 12 hours of sleep in the last few days, everything has been going well, schools not all that hard, I have my friends...work is, well, work...and Matt is Matt XP. Hopefully I can chill this weekend (between working in my paper that due Monday) and try and get some rest. No plans really. My mothers coming home from Florida tomorrow, unpacking will undoubtedly be required. F-U-N. My Matt might be coming over *fingers crossed*
With all the bitching aside...OMG when is the Death Note special coming out. It's killing me, and the 3 rd movie x_x the info is pretty much impoossible to find. Why?! While I'm waiting I've started in on 'The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya". It's okay...not into the whole Haruhi-ism deal, but I must admit the hare hare yukai dance is a bit addictive. I also went back and watched my previous favorite anime, Fullmetal Alchemist. After sitting and re-watching the whole series. Man, I realized how much I missed it. And I still bawled my eyes out constantly. Ah Edward, I miss him x_x My heart always goes out to the blonde bishies @_@ Yuki, Edward, Mello XD Mabey it's a weird fetish?

Anyhow...this weekend was...erm...interesting to say the least. Friday night = no sleep whatsoever. Cleaned the whole house, so my Matt could come over. The most of the morning/afternoon split between fits of sleeping and eating as per usual.
Evening...we went to the IMax at the mall to see Spiderman 3. SUCKED! Man, but it was mildly amusing seeing Peter Parker all emo'd out with the flippy hair and such XD. I almost died when he did that...so predictable...with the black suit and all that...mabey they're trying to make Spidey a bit more attractive to the emo demographic, yes? But his dancing...scary >.< he looked like a rapist...a really skinny...dorky...emo-hair-having rapist XD. It was a bit sad though...nothing could be compared to Death Note like our usual movies *tear tear* so me and my Matt spent most of the time talking about how utterly skanky Mary-Jane is. We really need a new word to describe other girls XP. But seriously she would've totally slept with Harry...c'mon now -_-.

But hey Mello (even though I luff him to itty bitty pieces) can be a bit of a...er...whore when it comes to deciding...in my humbled opinion anyways XP He flip flops around. Of caourse in the end ending up with Matt, and Near dying. (in my mind anyways) But we all know that Mello isn't dead/dying...he just got locked in a bathroom somewhere..with Matt...and they aren't dead...yeah thats right~! I bet they're in there smexing right now *in denial*. Heeeeeeeeeeeeey, idea for new fanfic, much?
O_o waaaaaaaaay the hell off topic but yeah, movie sucked...it was long, and then y'know I was expecting to at least be able to drool over the pretty emo/scene boys at the mall but N-O!! I think they went on strike, or they're like...hybernating or something cause there wasn't a single skin-tight-jean-wearing boy within 10 miles of the place >_> So they all must've either died...or they were off having a ginormous emo orgy somewhere...

Michele is coming over tomorrow, we're probably gonna go see 'Spiderman 3' in 3-d down at the IMax...I have a feeliing we might end up comparing everything to Death Note...just like we did with 'Blades of Glory' but I mean really...the coincidences were just waaaaaaaaaay to strong to ignore. It was Mello and Nears rivalry all over again xD
As for Sunday...I have no clue...work on my homework, my sketches are die=/ and start up my new project using different styles from art history. Hopefully it'll be more fun than the iPod ad I had to make...that one, for some unknown reason, really bugged the hell outta me D: *note to self*- be more careful with your X-acto knife next time, and try not to stab yourself anymore :/...yeah...it wasn't pretty >.<
That's all for now...gosh, now that DN is over I have nothing to obssessively rant about. Oh my. I guess I'll have to find another anime/manga...ToT bit I don't wanna...so I guess I'll just have to live off of DN doujins, fanart, and fanfic, until the new movie comes out.
